The inventor really plays a very significant role in the patenting process as he should speak or meet with the patent attorney to describe the invention and supporting data. He should review the patent application prior to submission. He would be the person to update the attorney and OLV on new developments/improvements to the invention. Apart from this he will be signing authority.
